Lawn & Garden Care

Home Composting

A simple 3-stage open compost adds even more value to future projects and yard maintenance. Leaves, grass clippings and plant prunings can all be disposed of on your own property into the first stage.

Once per the piles are rotated over and by the third stage you have usable soil. This is especially useful for homes just starting their landscaping process – composting provides free earth supply and convenient disposal for green waste.

Mulch

No landscape is complete without a minimum 1-2” covering of mulch. It is used to keep soil cool and moist, control erosion and suppress weeds. Organic mulches also infuse fertility as they decompose.

Mulching and garden bed redefinition typically occurs once annually in the springtime. Many colors and grades of mulch are available including cedar, hemlock and pine bark to compliment your landscape choices. For great value covering large areas, single-chip mulch is available as well.

Our customers with composting setups can also participate in our buyback program! We will purchase overflow soil and mulch generated from your compost to use in other projects.

Fall & Spring Leaf Cleanup

These bi-annual cleanups remove leaves and seasonal debris from your property.

This consists of air blowing and hand raking garden beds, lawn areas and hard surfaces.

Plant Pruning

Large shrubs with adequate space can look attractive without regular trimming. Some species do well with an annual or bi-annual touch-up, while others benefit from attention every 3 to 5 years.
